PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Michael Putnam was named the 2013 Web.com Tour Player of the Year in a vote of his fellow competitors, it was announced Saturday by PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem and Web.com Tour President Bill Calfee.
POTOMAC, Md. (AP) — Michael Putnam won his second straight Web.com Tour title Sunday, closing with a 2-under 68 for a two-stroke victory in the Mid-Atlantic Championship.
Whether it was bad luck or a fluke injury, Michael Putnam’s 2011 PGA Tour season ended prematurely with his left wrist in a cast.
